— The search for unbiased news sources —

I wanted to share my process on how I try to find unbiased factual news. I don’t wish to discuss politics. That's not what this post is about.

First, I want news sources that have little political bias and have good factual reporting. To check that I use a website called Media Bias/Fact Check.

https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/

It has a comprehensive media bias search engine. You can search for your news organization and it will tell you about their bias and how factual their reporting is.

For example, Here is CNN and Fox News

I have gone through and found the least bias main stream news sources.

Name: Associated Press

Website: https://apnews.com/

Bias Checker: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/associated-press/

Name: World News

Website: https://wn.com/

Bias Checker: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/world-news/

Name: WikiNews

Website: https://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Main_Page

Bias Checker: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/wikinews/

Next, I use another site that shows you what all news sources think on a given topic, based on their political bias. This website is called AllSides.

Please let me know if you learned something new from this. I just wanted to share this process because I want to inform people on how I try to consume my news. Once again, I am not here to have political debates or talk politics.
